  • 1 lb green beans, trimmed (about 450 g)
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 large garlic cloves, minced
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • 12 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (205°C) and lining a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Lay the trimmed green beans out on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Drizzle them with olive oil, sprinkle the minced garlic evenly across, and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Evenly distribute the freshly grated Parmesan cheese over the green beans.
  4. Place the baking sheet in your preheated oven and roast the beans for 20 minutes.
  5. Once roasted, remove the beans from the oven and drizzle the juice of half a lemon for a zesty kick.

Notes

For extra crispiness, you can broil the beans for the last 1-2 minutes.
