- 1 lb green beans, trimmed (about 450 g)
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 large garlic cloves, minced
- Juice of ½ lemon
- 1–2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (205°C) and lining a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Lay the trimmed green beans out on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Drizzle them with olive oil, sprinkle the minced garlic evenly across, and season with salt and pepper.
- Evenly distribute the freshly grated Parmesan cheese over the green beans.
- Place the baking sheet in your preheated oven and roast the beans for 20 minutes.
- Once roasted, remove the beans from the oven and drizzle the juice of half a lemon for a zesty kick.
Notes
For extra crispiness, you can broil the beans for the last 1-2 minutes.
