Ingredients

  • 1 pound powdered sugar

  • 14 ounces sweetened shredded coconut
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 10 ounces maraschino cherries, drained and chopped
  • 3 cups finely chopped pecans
  • 16 ounces candy coating, melting wafers, or almond bark

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir vigorously until smooth.
  2. Add sweetened shredded coconut and condensed milk; stir to combine.
  3. Fold in chopped cherries and pecans gently.
  4. Shape into balls and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  5. Melt candy coating and dip chilled balls; refrigerate until set.
