Delicious and easy Sausage Cream Cheese Crescents make the perfect appetizer or snack!


Ingredients

  • 2 cans of refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with the shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and paprika until smooth.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until browned; then drain excess grease and cool slightly before folding into the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Unroll the crescent roll dough and place a spoonful of the filling at the wide end of each triangle, then roll tightly.
  5. Place the stuffed crescents on the baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

Best served warm with marinara sauce or ranch dressing.
