Description

Hot Honey Tomato Burrata Dip combines sweet cherry tomatoes, creamy burrata, and fiery hot honey, making it a unique and memorable appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp hot honey (plus extra for drizzling)
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 large burrata ball
  • Fresh basil, for garnish
  • Toasted baguette slices or flatbread, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a baking dish, combine cherry tomatoes, olive oil, minced garlic, crushed red pepper flakes, and balsamic vinegar. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Roast for about 18 to 20 minutes until tomatoes are soft and slightly blistered.
  4. Stir in one tablespoon of hot honey, place burrata in the center of the tomatoes.
  5. Return the dish to the oven for another 5 minutes to warm the burrata.
  6. Drizzle with more hot honey, garnish with fresh basil, and serve with bread.

Notes

For a creamier texture, break up burrata before serving so it melts into the tomatoes.
