Description
A vibrant and delicious dish with a perfect balance of spice and zest!
Ingredients
- Linguine Pasta: 8 oz
- Raw Prawns: 1 lb, peeled and deveined
- Sriracha Sauce: 2 tablespoons
- Lime: 1, juice and zest
- Garlic: 3 cloves, minced
- Olive Oil: 2 tablespoons
- Chili Flakes: ½ teaspoon (optional)
- Parsley: 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Salt: to taste
- Black Pepper: to taste
Instructions
- Begin by bringing a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Once boiling, carefully add the linguine and cook according to package instructions until it’s al dente. Save about ½ cup of the pasta water before you drain it.
- While your linguine is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chili flakes (if using). Sauté for about 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the raw prawns to the skillet. Cook for about 2–3 minutes each side until they turn pink and opaque.
- Stir in the Sriracha sauce, lime juice, and lime zest. If the mixture feels too thick, slowly incorporate the reserved pasta water until you achieve desired consistency.
- Add the drained linguine to the skillet. Gently toss to coat. Adjust salt and black pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For more flavor, marinate the prawns in Sriracha and lime juice for 15-20 minutes before cooking.
