Description

The Tremendous Savory Steak Bites and Shrimp are a delightful combination of tender, juicy steak and succulent shrimp, all enveloped in a rich, garlicky glaze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • For the Steak Bites:
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into chunks
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • For the Shrimp:
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • For the Sauce:
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp dried thyme
  • ½ tsp dried rosemary

Instructions

  1. Start by preparing a flavorful marinade for the steak bites. In a medium bowl, mix together the sirloin steak chunks with soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, smoked paprika, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Cover the bowl and let it sit for about 15 minutes.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the marinated steak pieces to the pan. Sear each side for about 3 to 4 minutes. Once seared, remove the steak bites from the skillet and set them aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil if necessary, and toss in your peeled and deveined shrimp. Cook the shrimp for about 2 to 3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet.
  4. Add 2 tablespoons of butter to the same skillet and allow it to melt. Once melted, stir in the soy sauce, honey, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, dried thyme, and dried rosemary. Let this mixture simmer for about 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Return the seared steak bites and cooked shrimp to the skillet, tossing them in the sauce to ensure they are well-coated. Allow them to heat through for an additional 1 to 2 minutes.
